What is Mapletics?

Mapletics is the free sports app for Germany. The app combines three things: a map with over 30,000 sports facilities, a meetup system for local sport events and, soon, a leaderboard per city and sport. Available for iOS (15+) and Android (10+). The active community starts in Cologne; sports facilities are listed across Germany, with partial coverage abroad.

Our Mission

Mapletics connects people through sport. We believe sport is more than exercise, it brings people together, creates friendships, and strengthens communities. With our sports app we make it easy to discover sports facilities, organize events, and build your own sports community. Our goal is to make every city more active, by bringing the right people to the right place at the right time.

The Story

Mapletics was born out of a simple frustration: it was hard to spontaneously find people for sports. We built a sports app that solves exactly that, starting with the community in Cologne. Today over 30,000 sports facilities are on our map, the community is growing fast and the next big update (ranked mode) is just around the corner.

The Team

We are a small, passionate team from Cologne. Sports enthusiasts, technology-driven, and convinced that active communities make cities more livable. Mapletics was founded on June 2, 2025 by Robin Beyer.
